Toshiba DR570 DVD Recorder/Player - Black

I got this DVD recorder because I missed having a DVR when I had Dish Network. With the over the air digital conversion I needed something that I could set to a timer to record my favorite shows. The picture quality is great and love skipping commercials in incriments of 30-60-90-120-150-180 seconds. This Toshiba DVD recorder allows me to record my shows and watch other programs. I accomplish this by splitting my antenna connection with one going to the DVD recorder tuner and the other going directly to my LCD TV tuner. $159 on Amazon.com for this DVD recorder is a great savings as compared to $45/month just to have Dish Network with a DVR.
